Steering Group of Priority Area 7

The Steering Group (SG) of Priority Area 7 “Knowledge Society” is coordinated by Serbia and Slovakia. It consist of representatives of 14 Danube Region countries, European Commission and other Stakeholders.
It meets regularly to discuss plans and progress in regard to the implementatiton of the Targets and Actions of the Priority Areas.
The Steering Group is the main decision-making body of the Priority Area (PA).

Steering Group is composed of the:

  • members entitled to vote (representatives of each Partner State)
  • members in an advisory capacity (representatives of the teams of the Priority Area Coordinators, European Commission, relevant international organizations and associations)

The main tasks of the SG are:

  • to approve and modify its Rules of Procedure;
  • to refine the actions and examples of projects presented in the Action Plan under PA7;
  • to establish specific measurable targets for PA7;
  • to periodically review progress made towards achieving the specific targets of PA7 on the basis of documents submitted by the PACs;
  • to examine the “labelling” process of implemented projects;
  • to examine the results of implementation;
  • to propose to the PACs any revision or examination of the implementation of PA7;
