The institute is dedicated to the problem of protection of the cultures, of environmental protection in agriculture, application of biological control methods and biotechnologies in this field of activity. Tests with pesticides are also performed and field studies.

Following researches patents were issued:

  3. Patent nr. 127471 Strain of Trichoderma pseudokoningii for conservative agriculture systems

His personal competence is in microbiology, environmental microbiology, plant protection, medicine infectious diseases, environmental protection, plant protection, agriculture. He worked in the field of extremophylic microbes research (halophiles and psychrophyles).
