Danube Strategy Flagships are projects or processes that contribute to the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), have a clear macro-regional dimension and a multi-level governance approach. They are of high importance for the Danube Region’s economic, social and territorial cohesion and for improving the quality of life in the Danube Region.
The PA7 Steering Group at its XXIII. meeting (June 2022) recognized and awarded the PA7 Flagship Project Label to the following three projects/initiatives:
The Danube Tech Valley Initiative (DTVI)
Multilateral Danube Call
The Western Balkans Info Hub (March 2022-February 2026), provided by the Horizon Europe-funded project POLICY ANSWERS
Similarly, at the XXV. PA7 Steering Group meeting held in Bratislava (in June 2023) two new flagship projects were added to the list:
