CERIC-ERIC is bringing together researchers from its partner facilities and industry representatives, for a one day meeting at the CERIC headquarters in Trieste on October 20th, with the objective of presenting the possible solutions offered by CERIC to the industry, and of encouraging and strengthening the collaboration between the parties.
Through the small Research to Business (R2B) meeting organized in the framework of the H2020 ACCELERATE project, researchers will present the possible applications of synchrotron light techniques and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), for sectors spanning biomedical, polymers, plastics, textile and food. These and other complementary techniques allow to perform quantitative and qualitative chemical and biochemical characterisation of organic and inorganic molecules with a micrometric and nano-metric resolution, as well as to study mass transport processes, and the morphology and the electronic properties of complex materials.
