The Danube Rectors’ Conference is thrilled to inform you of the publication of the Call for Applications for a new strategic foresight project “The Future of Research and Education in a Globalized World: A View for and from the Danube Region“. The project is financed by the DRC, coordinated and implemented by the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM).

The main aim of the project is to provide strategic foresight concerning the future of higher education in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe by developing multiple future scenarios within four thematic areas. Through this initiative, the DRC intends to involve students, early-stage researchers and young scientists in the debate revolving around the future of higher education and academia.
