ON THE WAY TO FULL INTEGRATION OF MOLDOVA AND UKRAINE PARTNERS IN THE DTP

The Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) has submitted to the EC for its approval the revised Cooperation Programme for the financial involvement of Moldovan and Ukrainian partners through the full integration of the ENI fund. The DTP has done a historical step in the European Territorial Cooperation field.

In the previous programming period, the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme was the first one to integrate, at the programme level, the implementation of the ERDF and IPA funds. The Danube Transnational Programme, as one of the SEE successors, follows its legacy and makes an additional effort in fully integrating the ENI funds along with the ERDF and IPA. This is an important step as for the first time the three funds are fully integrated. This should allow the financial involvement of Moldovan and Ukrainian partners whose participation provides an added value both to the projects and the Programme. Administratively, this shall also contribute to the simplification of procedures.
